Comment: To whom may have the presence of mind. For several years now I have been done postings to various Yahoo Groups that I help Monitor. Even though I have learned a lot from the various articles that I post my overall purpose in doing so was to encourage people to get involved in mass mobilization to one degree or another. Whether you know it or not it consumes a lot of time to do good postings onto these Yahoo Groups.
I do it because I hope that when people are given vital information about what the hell is going on in the world that it will spur them to wake up and get involved in raising consciousness and getting involved in their own local communities or being online activists themselves or both.
I usually do not know who actually takes the time to read postings, but I generally get poor feedback. I am not paid to do these postings and it is time consuming and can require a lot of effort.
Knowledge is power, but we must do more than merely accumulate knowledge to share at coffee shops. Wisdom is applied knowledge.
It is not enough to be aware of what is going on. We must act!
